Using cubic silicon carbide new material as the main abrasive, the new cubic silicon carbide elastic grinding block was prepared by hot pressing process, and the organization, structure and performance of the material were tested by hydrostatic balance, Barbard hardness tester, XRD,SEM and so on, and the industrial test was carried out in the field. The results show that the mass fraction of cubic silicon carbide in the grinding block is 8.5, the temperature of the upper plate of the hot press is 160 ℃, the temperature of the lower plate is 163 ℃, and the Babb hardness of the elastic grinding block reaches 55 Hba when the pressure is 450 kN, and the porosity and water absorption are small. In the industrial test, the surface gloss of the fully polished ceramic tile reached 70 GU, which was significantly higher than the professional level.
